Responsible Person/Care Manager
Michelle is hands-on in her approach within our company. She prides herself on the fact that she is hands on, visiting you regularly to conduct reviews aswell as carrying out spot audits on her staff members, she understands the details of your care and support. With this approach and detailed understanding of your support package she can ensure that the quality is of the highest standard and strong relationships are built with all of her clients.
Michelle has a Level 5 in Leadership in Health and Social Care aswell as Train the Trainer qualifications in Moving and Handling, Medication, Safeguarding, Infection Control and End of Life Care. Michelle is also a qualified Risk Assessor & First Aider.
Samantha Sheridan
Operations Manager
Sam is passionate about improving the quality of the business aswell as focussing on the wellbeing of clients and staff making sure you get the best possible experience with your support package. Sam looks as methods and analyses areas of the business that may need improvements and puts together plans to implement these changes/make improvements where possible. Also applying a hands on approach where she can, she makes sure she will carry out tasks as and when needed and also work on ensuring the best quality standards are adhered to at all times.
Sam has a Level 5 in Leadership in Health and Social care aswell as Train the Trainer qualifications in Moving and Handling, Medication, Safeguarding, Infection Control, Dementia Awareness and End of Life Care.
Katie Sheridan
Office Manager
Katie ensures that the office is running to the best of its ability, offers support to staff aswell as maintaining strong relationships with clients. Katie assists clients with any changes they may need with their care packages and is the main point of contact with social workers to put these changes in place. Katie also is heavily involved in the HR process with staff offering HR support and advice, conducting payroll and induction training. Katie is methodical and has a strong eye for detail which helps maintain our quality approach aswell as sharing the Abacus vision of empowering and enabling clients.
Katie has a Level 5 in Leadership in Health and Social Care, Level 2 QCF in Dementia, Level 3 Business Administration aswell as currently studying her CIPD for HR.
